Exciting Developments at Market Street, Loughborough This Month

This month brings exciting updates from our Market Street development in Loughborough. Significant steps are being taken as we near the completion of the internal structure. The first fix plumbing and electrical systems are finished, and the entire building is primed for the next phase. Internal walls have been insulated, boarded, and secured with fire-stopping measures, making them ready for finishing.

Internal Structure Progress

The internal structure of the Market Street development is on track for completion. With plumbing and electrical work finalised, the building is set for a major transformation. This phase is essential as it establishes the foundation for the final fit-out, ensuring everything is aligned for a smooth progression to the finishing touches.

The installation of insulation and wall boarding not only improves energy efficiency by reducing heating costs by up to 30% but also enhances safety. In compliance with regulations, we have ensured that fire-stopping measures are in place. This attention to safety details is vital for fostering a secure and comfortable environment for future occupants.

External Enhancements

While we celebrate the progress made internally, the external upgrades are also noteworthy. We have initiated improvements for site security and access, including the installation of car park barriers that enhance safety for visitors and residents.

These barriers are part of a broader initiative to promote a welcoming environment. Ensuring security is crucial in helping to build a community where residents feel safe and at home.

Moving Towards Final Fit-Out

With the internal structure nearing completion and external upgrades ongoing, we are excited to enter the final fit-out phase. This transition marks a significant step as we shift focus from construction to the interior details that will define the building.

During this phase, we will select materials and colour palettes that create an inviting atmosphere.
